reaction is an independent Community Interest Company controlled by Northumberland County Council.

All our communities rely on enterprising people.

Enterprise is about much more than entrepreneurs and business.

People are at the heart of all reaction’s activity. reaction starts where people live, work and learn, with a bottom up, people-friendly approach.

Our approach is based on three building blocks:

Real entrepreneurs, their stories and experience are central to all our activities.

reaction stimulates and nurtures enterprising behaviour and skills amongst people of all ages where they live, work or go to school.

reaction works with individuals, businesses and community groups, and is active in schools across the region.

We believe in synergy – the whole of what we do is greater than the sum of the parts. Our project is part-financed by the European Union.
