NELN Challenge 2010-2011

Now in its third year, the NELN Challenge is open to Key Stage 5 students  in Northumberland high schools to set up school companies.

The winning school enterprise from each high school will be eligible to compete in the NELN Challenge finals next summer There are a number of different categories for awards. 

Key criteria include:

• Innovative and creative ideas to solve problems
• Identifying business suitability through robust market research
• Evidence of strong teamwork within the student mini business
• Sound financial planning and accounting
• Sustainability for future growth of the business
